Blues4Kali- ExperiMental Existentialism for the End Times

What will Winter Solstice bring in 2012? ...an instant of Karma? ...an ethereal spiral dance of the collective soul? ... cosmic judgment leveled against civilization's expanse? ...destruction of the world as we know it? ...a chance for a new start? ...the rise and the revenge of the Goddess? or simply another day in the life of paranoia? These are the false prophesies that your pastor warned you about!

"Makes DMT seem like a whip-it."

Crazy Bear said there'd be days like this. As usual, no one believed him. Now, all I want to know is: where IS that lifeboat, and how DO I ditch this ship of fools, without any of these bliss ninnies noticing that I'm already gone?
Captain, my ass. We are equal in this sea of madness.
That iceberg is looking awfully big.

New Age Metaphysical Books Amana Mission is on a quest to save the world, and the only problem is, she can't remember why she got involved with such an obvious scam in the first place. Jesus saves. Christ. What a loser.

"What the...?"
*A cranky band of prankster peace warriors who absolutely cannot resist messing with each other's minds, no matter the cost.
*Cocky alchemy-dabbling quantum surfers, navigating the Ethersphere with hand-held computers, switching timelines to find a better party vibe and swap tips about the best temporary toilets for use as interdimensional portals.
*A burnt-out visionary hippie millionaire on a mission from Gaia to build a better "communitopia" by underwriting a convoy carrying telepathic priestesses.
*A wheelchair-bound mindpilot propelling a crystal-powered Seed Bank toward the post-Apocalyptic Garden, with psychic precision...and a predilection for high-velocity extreme driving.
*Hermaphrodite time-jumper fleeing a fate worse than death.
*Anarchist ghettoes where anything goes-except escape.
*Ancient Principals vying like sweatsoaked carpetbaggers for our loyalty as the Final Vote is tallied.
*Long-haired security patrols collecting a cannabis tribute tax from all pilgrims to the Valley of Fun.
*And an underground meat mafia bringing a black magic revival to a bloodless dreamworld gone bland.
All brought together by a secret psychedelic superdrug that tunes users in to reality through the eyes of another archetypal avatar inhabiting a different state of space and time. Mahayana made easy. Budding Buddha natures are running amuck on a virtual superhighway where all roads lead to the Bo tree and singularity.
Twenty-first century Tantra is about more than sex, drugs, and rock and roll.Confronting the Karma of every wasted breath is only the first step.
Welcome to the End Times. Kali awaits. She already knows who you are.
Do you?
The 21st century counterculture is even weirder than it appears on the surface. This is not your mommy’s MTV Road Rules. Satire Parody and Humor.

Ride along on this mesmerizing, metaphor-packed bus trip toward ecstasy and enlightenment, as three real-time guides-Amana, Sissy, and Deva, let you in on what they learned when they asked what It was really all about, after all.

Hello. I was wondering if any one could help me. I'm a young writter and I love to write (obviously), but lately I haven't been able to come up with any ideas. It's like I've lost my inspiration. Does any one have any ideas what I could do?

Sorry if this does not belong here, but I am writing a story for a nonfiction article class about LJ users, and was wondering if anyone would be interested in answering some questions for me about why you have an LJ, what you divulge, etc. If interested please email me at browneyedgirl2301@yahoo.com. Thank you!

Hey, I'm new tot his community and thought I should post something I wrote for my English Composition class. Our assignment was to write about someone we don't get along with. So, this is what I came up with. All suggestions would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

I just wanted to say hi, as I am a new member of this community. I learned of it through the 100stories community, and thought that it would be a good challenge to tackle this too.

Superbipolar to the rescue!
Superbipolar is here! Have no fear!
The end of our problems is near!
I see the tail of it right now!
I don't understand how.
But it is of the utmost importance that we do not Panick!
Because, quite frankly, I am not Manic.
Silly and quite out of my mind - Yes!
Having maybe a little too much fun? - Double Yes!!
Okay, seriously folks.

Everyone who was patiently waiting for chapter 2 of my "Peter and Leah" story, it is finally finished! Go to the journal titled "stephenleah" and read chapter 2! Do friend that journal. This way you will get the story at it unfolds. I am posting all chapters behind an lj-cut so that your friends page is not over whelmed. The lj-cut is about 2 sentences into the chapter so that it will take up very little space. This notice will be cross posted.

I wrote this story for a prose fiction workshop class and I wanted to get some feedback on it before heading to class with it. It is about 4 pages long, so I've put it behind a cut. I just want to know what needs editing. Thanks.

Tired I go to bed.
Having transfered all of my emails to desktop folders,

haven't really seen anyone post in here but lets see if people are lurking

I had my best trip back to Las Vegas so far while being in the Navy. I really can't say how much it meant to me to see people I've passed up the last few trips out. The girl I've wanted since my sophomore year in high school looked into my eyes and didn't blink. I also reunited with an old best friend, Angela, who became rather estranged after several years without contact. Danielle, Angela, Angela's Friend Crystal, and I stayed up one night drinking coffee, smoking cigarettes and talking about life for 5 or 6 hours at Angela's dining room table in one turned out to be the best 24 hour period of my two week trip.

This is in story form, but believe me, there’s no story here worth reading. I’m just practicing my writing in story form. Anyways, like I said..pretty boring. Keep reading if you care. The night through my eyes (the quotes are almost definitely not correct, but they convey what happened and what was said with a reasonable amount of accuracy):

the story is behind the cutCollapse )

Another Day
Another Day and soon I shall be a writer.
Some day and maybe I'll be a bit lighter.
Never will come the day when I'm a fighter.
For tomorrow will be a lot brighter.
And my pants will no longer be tighter.

So much for nonsense!

Lights at the end of the Tunnel shine brightly, lighting the way down th straight and narrow path. The people in the know, follow the light down that straight and narrow path, keeping their hope with that light. Their sorrow, their pain, their joys and their gains are all wrapped up in that light at the end of the tunnel. One by one, they conquer their sorrow and their pain. One by one their joys bedcome immense and their gains overly bountiful. As they come closer and closer to that light at the end of the tunnel, their load becomes lighter and lighter. Until soon, the load exist no more and their shoulders are bare of all but laughter and joy. The people in the know rejoice in the light they found at the end of the tunnel. For it is the light that carried them through. It is the light that made their load so much lighter. That light that can only be the Messiah himself.

To Write for 365 days
The moderator said Write,
Above all write at all cost.
So, I write and do not stop.
I think and dive until I drop,
Into a slumber so deep,
That I am lulled into sleep.
But where is the moderator,
That encouraged us to Write?
Where has he gone?
Has he flown the kite?
Someday perhaps we shall see,
Some more stories written by he,
the one who started the challenge we see,
As I write a poem for all to read.
